How did Back of House compile all the theaters, programs, and theme parks?

- Union theaters were pulled directly from AEA's listing of all active union theaters in the last 6 months.
- Non-Union Theaters:
- Data on non-union theaters / performing spaces was skimmed from Google Maps and Google Business directory.
- Cruise Ships / Touring:
- Compiled from the most well-known cruise ship and touring companies in the community.
- Theme Parks:
- Compiled from theme park specific blogs with tags about performing arts or mascot representation.
- BFA / MFA programs:
- Compiled from the United States Education Department's database on all universities, colleges, and institutions (both private and public) that have an active BFA/MFA program in the performing arts.
Accuracy and Completeness: Please Help Us Maintain Accuracy!
Though we spent a lot of time compiling our database, we know there may be inaccuracies. We are a free-to-use site, so please help us when you see anything that is incorrect. You can report any page using the report button if you know:
- A company/program no longer exists
- Has incorrect information
- Misspelled or has changed their name
- A page is NOT a performing arts focused listing (such as a restaurant that no longer has a performance space)
If a theater or program is missing entirely, you can add it here!
