I'm a company owner. What can I do about negative reviews?

There are a few options on how to handle your negative reviews:

  • Respond to them: in responding to negative reviews, maintain a professional tone, express appreciation for their feedback, offer a sincere apology if needed, provide context, propose a solution or compensation, invite private conversation for further resolution, highlight any positives or improvements, avoid arguments, keep your response concise, and monitor any follow-up from the reviewer.
  • Report them: if you believe a review violates Our Community Guidelines, you can report it directly on the site and our team will review it. If we find anything that violates our policies, we'll take it down. Please note that we only remove reviews when we find they violate any of our policies. We don't take sides in factual or contractual disputes between you and any reviewer. We also won't tell you who wrote a review.
  • Ask other people to leave more reviews: while we encourage you to ask more people to leave honest reviews, we do not allow members to incentivize or coerce anyone to leave positive reviews. Doing so would violate our policies and if this problem persists, your page may be tagged to warn users about this behavior.
