Best Way to Import PST to New Outlook Without Losing Emails

I switched to the New Outlook recently and one thing that really frustrated me was the missing PST import option. I rely heavily on old Outlook archives, so finding a reliable way to import PST to New Outlook became really important for me.

At first, I used the native method Microsoft added in 2026. The process involved opening New Outlook, going to the Import section, selecting the PST file, and starting the import. It worked fine for basic email migration, but large PST files took longer to process and cloud syncing sometimes delayed the mailbox updates.

Later, I tried the DRS Softech PST Converter for a more complete migration. What I liked most was that it supported emails, contacts, calendars, and attachments together in a single process. It also allowed batch PST import and duplicate filtering, which saved a lot of cleanup work later.

If someone only has a small PST file, the manual method is enough. But for professional or bulk migration, the automated solution feels much more reliable and less stressful.
